The Sarthe '70 watch is named after the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe, home of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
It honors Richard Attwood, who drove the first of Porsche's 19 victories at the legendary race, and to Steve McQueen, who immortalized the event in his film Le Mans. The watch's unique colorway is directly inspired by the race suits worn by both Attwood and McQueen, capturing the spirit of two iconic moments in motorsport and cultural history

High-Performance Movement
The High-precision Citizen Miyota movement is celebrated for its excellent timekeeping and long-lasting, maintenance-free usage.
The chronograph buttons offer a satisfying, tactile click; a feature typically found only on mechanical watches. It includes a 3-hand movement (hour, minute, and chronograph second), two indicators, and a date window at 6 o'clock.
The central chronograph hand beats four times per second and offers a quick, sweeping reset via a heart cam system.

I was impressed the moment I opened the box. When I put it on, the 45mm diameter was perfect for my wrist (I prefer larger diameters). The leather strap looks and feels of quality and fits comfortable on my wrist.
As for the face, the numbers are easy to read and love the orange "hands" for the chronograph and seconds dials. It's not too heavy nor too light.
Happy to wear this watch with pride.
